For this spell you need to find a stone that is different in some way from the other stones in your area. Ask its permission to be used for yourself or another. The best time to do this spell is on a Wednesday.(Wodens day)You will need:
9ft white cord
Yellow candle (blessed)
Lavender essential oil,or incenseOil burner,
if using oilsYour chosen stone from your area
Yellow & violet or blue paintPaint brushes
Open your cord circle in the east and honour the four directions. Place the candle and oil burner (if using oils) in the centre and light them,adding a few drops of lavender oil into the burner. Alternatively light the incense.Sit in the centre of the circle facing east and paint your stone bright yellow. When its dry,paint a triangle in violet or blue with a line near its base as shown. The element of Air.Hold the stone up to the east and repeat the following invocation eight times, making sure to thank the angel Raphael after the eighth time.
' O Raphael,angel of the east,fill this stone with your blessing and protection. I pray to you for a safe journey for me (or say someone elses name) guard me ( or other person) and guide me / other persons on the path this journey take's until I/ they can return.'
Close your spell and circle your usual way. Carry your stone (or give it to someone else) whilst on your / they're travels. Returning it to Mother Earth when the journey is done and completed and you/ they are safely home.
